    HDB Bathtubs

    Q: Is the bathtub suitable for HDB?
    A: All the bathtubs that you find here at SingaporeBathtubs are specially made for HDB in terms of size and weight. The weight of our bathtubs are between 30kg-50Kg. Add a person into the bathtub, and we should be talking about 250kg max, which is well within the max loading weight allowed in HDB.

    Q: Is the bathtub suitable for HDB?
    A: All the bathtubs that you find here at SingaporeBathtubs are specially made for HDB in terms of size and weight. The weight of our bathtubs are between 30kg-50Kg. Add a person into the bathtub, and we should be talking about 250kg max, which is well within the max loading weight allowed in HDB.

    Q: Is this bathtub HDB approved?
    A: Yeap! All our bathtubs have attained the necessary documentation and approval needed to be used in HDBs. So absolutely no worries on this front. Our bathtubs can all be used in HDBs.

    Q: How much would the bathtub cost for a 2-room/3-room/4-room BTO?

    A: Each bathroom is different in terms of size and layout. We do not have a standard price for each layout. It really depends on the shape and the size chosen. We have in total 32 different models, with many sizes for each model to suit your bathroom. More than 100 in total!

    Q: How would I know which bathtub is suitable for my house?

    A: We provide a FREE onsite consultation for our clients. It is NOT a gimmick to hard sell, it is more for us to access the site and make sure that the tub you have purchased from us will be able to fit. As each tub is bulky, access to the site allows us to see the space needed for manoeuvre. It would be disastrous if the installers are there and we find that the door to your bathroom is too small!

    Q: Do you have a showroom?

    A: Of course! We highly encourage you to go our showroom to see and try out for yourself. Our SingaporeBathtubs concept store is situated at Proxima @ Gambas, 50 Gambas Crescent, #03-15, Singapore 757022. It is near Sembawang MRT. Opening hours are 10am to 7pm daily. Remember to request for an appointment before you head down!

    Q: Do you provide on-site consultations?

    A: Definitely! All you have to do is just ask. Each consultation will typically take about 30-45 minutes.

    Q: I just want a consultation. I may not buy immediately Is that okay?

    A: Of course! No worries at all. As we are really here to help, our visit is not meant to force any hard-selling to you. We are okay if you decide not to make a purchase.

    Q: I just want a quote. Can I send in my floor plan?

    A: Yes, we will be glad to give an estimated quotation. Just send us your floor plan at our business WhatsApp at +65 8440 4413.

    Price

    Q: I am budgeting my renovation. How much should I put?

    A: A good budget will be $1245 to $1800. Add $500 for customization (if required).

    Q: Are prices inclusive of installation? 

    A: Installation charges start from $150 depending on the difficulties onsite. We need to assess before we can quote.

    Q: My house renovation will not be ready in 2 months, how do I make a reservation so that there will be a tub for me?

    A:  Just make a reservation for your tub, a reservation fee of 50% of value will be required and you can make the rest of the payment when your house is ready.

    Q: After I make my purchase, when can you come for installation
    A:  If there are current stocks available, we can install the bathtub within 3 to 5 days upon ordering. If there are no current stocks, it may take four to six weeks for us to bring the tub in.

    Installation

    Q: How long will installation take?
    A: Installation will typically take between 30 minutes to an hour. Special customization done onsite may take another hour max.

    Q: If it is just Plug and play, why do you charge installation fees?
    A: Because our tubs still need balancing at site since your floor is not level. The bathtub also comes in a crate, and would need proper removal and disposal.

    Q: I have an aircon pipe in my bathroom, can I install a tub from SingaporeBathtubs?
    A: Yes definitely. We will be able to do minor adjustments to make sure the pipe passes through

    Q: I have a shower door installed; can I install a tub from SingaporeBathtub?
    A: Yes, we definitely can install a bathtub in your bathroom even though you have an existing shower door.

    Q: My bathroom is really small, are you sure it can fit?
    A: Although we dare not say we can fit every single bathroom with our tubs, there are really very very few bathrooms that we didn’t manage to fit in one. Maybe less than 1%.

    Q: What if I still cannot find anything suitable out of your standard stock?
    A: You can give us a call to get a free consultation and we will be pleased to advice on how to customize a tub.

    Maintenance

    Q: How do you clean the space within the walls and bathtub?
    A: Our tubs are portable. It works the same as a furniture in the bathroom and you can move it around to clean the space underneath.

    Q: Is it difficult to move them?
    A: Our tubs are from 30kg to 50kg with adjustments for height. They can be easily pushed around your bathroom, to facilitate cleaning, yet sturdy enough to hold up the weight of water and user.

    Q: I am moving to a new house soon. Can I bring it along?
    A: Our plug and play system allows customers to easily place them in their next house. Quite a few of our clients actually bring along with them their own personal tub to the next place that they live at.
